It is important to know about standard of living is because it helps people determine which countries need help and which countries don’t. If people know which countries need help then they can go help them.

If you have a country that has a low standard of living you can use the 5 themes of geography to identify the location and see exactly what it would look like. If you know what the area looks like than you can determine whether it is a low standard of living. If the area looks really dirty and run down then it’s most likely has a low standard of living. If the area looks clean and orderly then it’s most likely has a high standard of living.

The 5 themes of geography help people understand the world better by taking all the ways to view it and using them to help people see other things in light.

Which of the themes is most difficult to understand? Explain why you think this.

I think Movement is the hardest theme to understand because it's hard for me to see things and then describe them.

Map Skills Reflection

One thing i find easy about map skills is finding where the continents and oceans go on a map. One thing i struggle with is coordinates, I sometimes find coordinates easy when the map is smaller but when i'm finding the coordinates with the whole world map it's a little challenging. You need to have a good understanding of basic map skills because they are part of everyday life, you use map skills when you are trying to figure out which way you are supposed to go when looking at a map in your car, or maybe you are researching a paper for a school project and it says include a map of Africa.
